Pope Francis recruits Naomi Klien in Climate Change Battle Blog :

Nearly 500 Years since Galileo was found guilty of heresy, the Holy See is leading the rallying cry for the World to wake up and listen to Scientists on Climate Change. Multi-Faith Leaders will walk alongside Scientists and Campaigners, hailing from organizations including Greenpeace and Oxfam Italy, marching to the Vatican to celebrate the Pope's tough stance on environmental issues.

Much of the Pope's discourse focuses on the need to give developing countries a greater voice in Climate negotiations, a view that sits uncomfortably among some developed nations. "There is a lot of people who are having a lot of trouble in realizing there is a voice with such Global Authority from the Global South.

Such as when Galileo refused to accept the Church orthodoxy that the Earth was the immovable center of the Universe in 1633, as a scientist and a scholar to redeem his faith in the fact of his findings. Galileo agreed not to teach the heresy anymore and spent the rest of his life in house arrest. It took more than 300 years for the Church to admit that Galileo was right and to clear his name of heresy.

The same principle of heresy may exist in the scientific facts of Climate Change Decimation today. Turning a blind eye or nullifying the facts of Climate Change since the Industrial Revolution may reduce the moral voice of all Humanity. An equilibrium of Science and Faith may prevail to weather on the onset of Climate Change Chaos. A humanitarian issue for the Common Good of all who inhabit Planet Earth.
